I wonder if Jesus always felt like “The Anointed Son of God.” I imagine He had times where He appeared to have no power at all. For instance, Matthew chapter 4 says,
"Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ” Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ” Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’ ” Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
Matthew 4:1-11 NKJV
Jesus prayed and fasted and was still tempted many times by the devil. I believe, He felt no special anointing, no power from within that could confidently cast Satan out. He had something more powerful. Something that even on His weakest day could make the devil run for cover. The Word of God...It Is Written!
We must understand the “Always On Power” in the Word of our God. There will be moments in life when you just don't "feel it" but, don’t for one second think God’s power is not present for you. When we trust and speak the Word of our God He answers us. We then walk with the same “Always On Power” and anointing Jesus walked with. You just have to stand on God’s Word like Jesus did!
Our assignment is not to create easy to follow steps, per our own intelligence but, to present kingdom ideas which stretch the capacity of the mind. This addition space gives Holy Spirit territory to expand the Kingdom of God.
Simple answers are not always the solution. Questions inspired by the Holy Spirt plants seeds which create forests of God’s goodness in communities, cities, nations, etc.
Holy Spirit give us the right questions to ask? Open our eyes to the fullness of The Kingdom of God. Make us hungry to love what God our Father loves and hate what He hates. Give us His heart alone.
Music creates an environment or a mood. I think of it like soil. Plants need specific soil and conditions to grow.
What do you want to grow in your life?
Do the things you See, Say, and Listen to align with those goals?
This is one of the playlists I listen that reminds me of the presence of God. Nothing magical about it, it simply creates the environment for me to hear God speaking to my heart. What music creates that environment for you?
